Sorry Mr. Pibbsby tateComment: A perfect contrast of calm disdain and apoplectic frustration. Been there. Also like the contrast between the two mats and/or rug. That is, a 'meadow' of small flowers and a welter of frenetic design. Is the dog actually slobbering?

"Water will find its way..." : Salt Marsh in Autumnby Bear_MusicComment: Interesting melding of curve and straight line, they actually look comfortable together. And the outskirts, calm in its own nature. Fine composition, not quite balanced because of the slanted perspective, and more provocative for it. Nice title, modest and full. The colors are gorgeous, just wonderful. Who needs Faberge?

from the depthsby tateComment: This is totally believeable. With so many constraints down there, evolution has to pick magic's pocket. Fine, compelling image. |

Footprints on Perfectionby posthumousComment: What a lovely image. It speaks in many tongues. Delicate and exciting. Love the speckled and winding tonalities. Did you ever find out where that mongoose was headed?
Big, well-deserved blue. Congratulations. |

Homeward Boundby mluComment: Unusual, mystifying and entrancing. The light throwing off stars, and its corona, is wonderful. |

Country Road (Take Me Home)by Bear_MusicComment: Charming in its full saturation. What kept drawing my attention is the contrast between the trees. Put me in mind of the nursery rhyme,
Jack Sprat could eat no fat.
His wife could eat no lean.
And so between them both, you see,
They licked the platter clean.
And having looked this up, here's an earlier version --
Jack will eat not fat, and Jull doth love no leane,
Yet betwixt them both they lick the dishes cleane. |
