Driveby JudiComment: I thought this would have been my direct competitor.
This was my first idea, but I had no sports car to use, unfortunately, so I stayed on topic and used a motorcycle.
I love how still the inside of the car looks, makes the trails look more "fast" and gives an overall speedy feeling to the picture.
Great photo. |

Location 4 - Perfect to catch trainby pgirish007Comment: I was uncertain about this picture.
The trails are SO perfect that the train looks like a wall, stealing a bit of the "speedy" feeling this should have been.
Very good picture, nonetheless.
Congrats on the HM! Message edited by author 2016-10-07 10:42:50. |

chair-o-planeby primabarbaraComment: Love the spinning, everything is so dynamic.
Very clever use of the fisheye, it gives a lot of space and lets the observer focus on the movement.
Congrats on the HM! |

Lincoln's Stepsby instepsComment: Well, no 1 score, noticed that too :D
Great use of perspective, the picture looks "weird", but not in a bad way.
Congrats! |

Pigeon guyby beatabgComment: beatabg good choice sending this picture instead of one of the other two.
The stance of the Pigeon Guy in those two picture is just not "Street".
Congrats on the HM! |

that was then, this is now...by NeatComment: When I first saw this I thought the space on the left and bottom and the date 1935 just leaning on the top of the frame were a bit misleading to my eye.
Then I looked at this again and again (yep, at least 2 of those 100+ exceeding views are mine :P ) and I noticed the car and the lady with yet another hat on the left of the print!
I don't know if the other hat was intended, but it gives the image a nice touch, just like GeorgesBogaert picture's scooters, given that an italian motorcycles manifacturer makes a scooter whose name is "Typhoon" :D
So, even though I still think the whole frame might have been moved "up" a bit, I say: well deserved second place :)
Congrats! |

Yup, at this point I'm starting to think that we somewhat deserved that lonely yet proud "one" :) |
