Level Centreby shardyComment by Olyuzi: Too much distracting glare in the glass and chrome of this guage. Can see your camera and hand in the reflections. |

Level Centreby shardyComment by skief: With this picture, I find myself more interested in the reflection than the subject, trying to figure out what it is, almost looks like a computer screen? Also, it is not 'dead center' it is centered horizontally, but not vertically. |

Plastic Flamesby shardyComment by Artifacts: I'm pretty sure this is a hair clip. :) I like your idea and it is composed well. Your choice of background to support it is the strongest feature of this composition. Since this is a member challenge I would have cloned out most of the white specs to give it a cleaner look. Nice job. |

Plastic Flamesby shardyComment by L1: OK...very different. Like the colors and the lines; I am distracted by the white dust or particles along the entire front. |

A Spring Eveningby shardyComment by MarkJay: You have / had a great idea here. Next time you visit this place (if it's a local place for you?), either kneel down or find a lower plane from which to take the photograph.... you'll then have the mountains framed INSIDE the gazebo, in a way that would be more pleasing to the eye. Nicely seen. |

A Spring Eveningby shardyComment by GinaRothfels: This works really well as a silhouette, but I'm wondering what it would have looked like in landscape mode. I'd have likes to see a bit more background; more negative space. |

A Spring Eveningby shardyComment by BobsterLobster: You've caught a lovely moment in the sky with it's corresponding light on the water, it's almost a shame there's your main subject in the way. I can't help feeling though that the use of light in the background is the most interesting thing in this shot and should have been exploited more. Again, there are some beautiful silhouetted hills in the background I would like to see more of. The structure in the foreground really doesn't interest me that much and it's composition here is unimaginative. It is silhouetted, but there's too much interesting clutter behind it for the silhouette to really pop out. There's a lovely mood to this shot though. |
