This is an interesting composition and nicely toned. But, it is suffering from a lot of jpeg artifacts (like the jagged diagonal lines and the jarring color gradient on the sphere). Try saving with a higher quality setting (this picture only uses 53k and you're allowed up to 150k for your entries).

Nice subject - line of flying gulls suggests action. Wish you had used the full 150kballowed instead of shrinking to 97k as it looks like some jpeg artifacts, for example the jagged edges of the gull wings.

Nice composition with good framing and leading lines. I think this photo would be better if it had been taken with a much smaller aperture (greater f-stop) and longer shutter speed. The small aperture would improve the depth of field anhd made the structure at the rear sharp, and the slow shutter speed would have blurred the fountain into nice, soft lines.

Nice capture of a classic scene. I find the tree on the right competes for attention as it's significantly darker than most of the rest of the picture - it really pops out at me. I think the photo would be improved if it were cropped out.
