I'm Not Shyby SteveinnzComment: I wish this were just a tad more in focus, because this is a very cute shot. I'm not sure how I feel about the girl's arm covering half of her face, regardless of the title, though - she looks like an adorable girl, and I'd like to see her full face. Maybe if this were't quite so close of a crop it would be more evident what's going on in this photo. Regardless, the colours are good and the subject is interesting :) |

Alone with my thoughts...by samtrundleComment: Lighting and sharpness are great - I really like the composition, too. The way both sides blend easily to black really seems to work well here; lovely work - this is a stunning portrait. |

Childhood Memoriesby BradComment: Awwww... I like the darkness of this sweet shot. My eye seems to think that camera needs to be pointed just a tad to the right - that the subjects are a little too close to the middle - but that's nothing too major as far as I'm concerned. The focus is nice, with pleasant bokeh, and the toning is great for the mood. Very emotive shot. |

Determined to succeedby gaurawaComment: Lovely! I adore your choice of tones for this, and the focus is absolutely perfect. Sharpness, contrast, etc. are all great; the composition is excellent as well - the subject is well placed. The lighting is just right. Excellent! |

Day's Endby BudComment: The first thing I see when I look at this shot is the marvelous array of textures - I love it. The composition is awesome, with the man's eyes very near the centre of the image, and the sharpness is just right. The colours are lovely; the background gives this sort of a dreamy feel, while the sharpness of the eyes and all the textures bring me back to reality. Gorgeous work. |

A Candid Momentby clarmoreComment: This is beautiful. The close crop works marvelously - you've really captured something special here. Focus is perfect, and the contrast seems just right for the moment. Lovely work. |

Hypnoticby duncesComment: Very pretty. I'm assuming the soft focus was on purpose.. it works well in this instance. A tad more contrast would really make this stand out, but this is, regardless, a unique shot that has been nicely executed. I like the angle - it really makes a person notice those lovely eyes. |

Heaing Handsby Glen KingComment: I'm not entirely sure what to make of this picture.. it seems like something that would be accompanied by a story or article of some sort. The colour is a bit washed out and there is a lot of overexposure; I think this might really have been more effective in black and white, or with some editing of curves and colour. The background is a bit distracting, and the person in the foreground is also a distraction as they are not fully visible, but the main subject is nicely in focus. Interesting candid. |

Spaceby marboComment: Not too sure how I feel about the selective desat, but the effect is interesting. It'd have been great if it wasn't quite so processed, but this is still a great picture. Interesting take (tying the title in with the effect); it's fun to see something different. Focus and such are very good, and the setting is great. |

In the Eyes of a Childby jenesisComment: Awwwwww! This is too precious! I would have LOVED to see this in colour, and maybe with just a tad more brightness, but the close crop is great for this shot, and the focus is excellent. Nice! |
