The cat with its sharp features and piercing eyes reminds me of a movie still from one of Alfred Hitchcock's films. The strong contrast in the image creates a sense of mood and sense of suspense. Like the cat is trying to cover something terrible.

The overall look of the image is clean and simple. The background circle is a little too blurry to see what it is (a cracker, a plate,...), However, there are no distracting elements in the frame. This allows the viewer to focus on the tomato slice and its details. Simple, yet effective.
