Local Marina Prepares for Hurricaneby lucidgirlComment: I'd use some stronger rope if I were them...However since I'm not a boater I would no idea if this would be the right thing to do.
As for the image itself, there are some blownout highlights due to the time of day. If you can avoid taking pictures during the midday you can avoid those harsh shadows and blownout highlights. |

I'm sure some will like it as is, but I think a deeper DOF would work better in this situation. Most newspaper photography nees to be pretty straitforward, not artistic. |
