I hope you appreciate your father! I do not think there are many that would be supportive enough to go to that extent despite the value in doing so. As a relatively new dad, I hope I'm that supportive of my kids and their ambitions when times like these come along.

With that said, great stuff. Great idea. Great vision. Great execution.

One question - How far is Cannon Beach from Bandon and Pacific Dunes golf clubs (the name of the third track that opens this year escapes me at the moment)?

As a former hurler, I get a kick out of this pic - twisted, I know. From the perspective of the pic it's a bit hard to tell, but there appears to be an awful lot of room between the outside edge of the box and the back of the kids feet...so perhaps the pitcher wanted his plate back (though I would never advocate crunching someone's melon to do so). :-)

Game analysis aside, I had this much higher. It is a once in a lifetime, and it is well done, very well done. Guess it just wasn't pretty enough for the voters. I do understand some of the comments about the crop since the crowd does not really add much here, but still thought it would end up much higher.

Really like the tones, and the photo overall - the foreground seems forced to me, can't decide if I'd like this better if the visible weeds in the lower left were cropped or removed. Also might like it better w/out the tractor path, but those are minor things IMO.
