Greeitngs from the CC, I think choosing a subject is a hard decision. It is hard to balance availablity, and interest and meeting challenge. I think your choice of subject is a bit lacking, if you choose to shoot an ordinary subject you have to do something (IMO) to make the ordinary extraordinary, to make the viewer wow, or feel, of display a technique that is unique. I think you also suffered a bit with this shot because the main part of the shot, the white bulb coverings are not sil.s' which meeting the topic on dpc is important. Just some thoughts on subject choices really hope it helps a little and does not sound too harsh : ), keep shooting!

Shot is a little too busy with the frame filled and no negative space to set off the composition. I don't feel that your subject is interesting enough beyond the challenege brief. Shot against a pure blue sky this may work very nicely.
