The hotspots off the golden globe arms is very distracting. Kinda of aan interesting take to this challenge tho. An almost abstract feeling to it. The reflections in the globe are also distracting and could have been corrected with different lighting. Good luck in this challenge. <6>

The brightness and contrast levels are off. I'd decrease brightness by -10 and increase contrast by +10. I'd also use the burn tool and darken the wood up giving it a little more character. The title fits well to the photo and the tilt of the photo is pleasing and subtle. Good luck in this challenge. <6>

At first glace I thought this was a very cool shot realizing what it was. I bet this gets slammed for not being "gold". Excellent clarity and color but DNMC IMO but your not getting marked down for that from me. <7>

While the photo fits the challenge I'm not to fond of this type of photo. The title goes well and it is very clean and crisp just not pleasing to look at IMO. Be it as it may I vote it a <7>

I'm not to fond of this shot mainly because the hand model as an aged hand and there is something under the thumbnail. The gold also doesn't look very golden but more washed and pale. Good luck in this challenge. <5>

Nice abstract. I'm not really sure what I'm looking at which is why this is hard to vote. It looks almost like a macro of a microchip poking thru a leaf. I'm not fond of the blurred background altho it does make it look landscapish which in itself is very cool. Gonna give this a <8> in hopes that I'm right and because of the OOTB feeling.

Excellent colors and clarity but the title makes the photo fit the challenge. Its a Tiger Swallowtail not golden but an extremely nice capture. Well done and good luck in this challenge.

While I'm not fond of the car its not the car I'm voting on. Great clarity and nicely blurred background and great comp. A shot I'd expect to see on a billboard etc. It also fits the challenge well. The shot however is a little to simple for me and has a quiet feeling about it. I really like the way the car appears to be looking you right in the face or almost oncoming feeling. Well done and good luck in this challenge. <8>

I'd would have like to see the title refer to the song. ie "Ray a drop of golden sun..." I do like the shot as a whole and the silhouette is very well done and the colors are outstanding. The horizon is straight which is nice to see for one as I find most people don't take the time to look and have them tilted. Well done and good luck in this challenge. <7>
