Focus looks very soft, could've benefitted from slight sharpening Also don't understand the logic of the bloody glove.

Interesting choice of backlighting, I think it works here. Good DOF, would've liked to see brighter catchlight in the eyes.

White balance appears off or as a warming filter was used. Dark pieces get lost in the background, including the queen.
