I like the simplicity of this, with the limited palette of tones and hues. Nice evocation of mood. Subject is uncertain -- my eye is drawn to the bright sun, but compositionally the ducks want to be the subject. Slightly oversharpened? .. haloes evident? 6

An arresting and very creative image. Striking contrast between the soft typical little girl and the spiky non-traditonal mom. Lovely soft lighting and subtle skin tones. Nice colour palette throughout. Effective DoF choice. There are at least a couple of comments on Beauty in this image too, and with her glare, the little girl seems to be challenging us to be open to seeing them.. Very well done. 10.

I wish the lavendar extended across the entire foreground for better balance, but Mother Nature was quite cooperative for you regardless! Tough exposure challenge ... her face is a little dark ... I can't actually tell that her eyes are green. Good DoF control and composition, and subject matter certainly meets the challenge!
