this would score much higher with me if all that on the left was cropped out. aspect ratio detracts from subject. wonderful bokeh and very sharp. gl.

Nice image, good colors. It could improve some with some slight sharpening. Would possibly nice to see a bit more of the land to the left to balance the large white area.

I have never been there myself (I intend to one day) but the colour in the falls looks too blue to me. Composition is also a bit odd - too little on the bottom - might have been better zoomed out more... and then we could see more of these beautiful falls

Comment by Mike:
severely lacking in tonal range, i may have tried a tighter crop on some of the rocks with the mist in black and white.

as its stands there is too much going on in this image.

The lower angle really shows off the power of that water - the birds add a nice sense of scale.

Have to admit, as a volunteer at the animal shelter I meet a LOT of people who really should have a pet like this! I'd find this shot a little more appealing with softer light, I think, like a more dreamy portrait.

Wonderful details and focus of the eye and the eyelashes. B&W on all but the iris and pupil keeps the audience's attention focused on your main element. The one main flaw is that shadow that obscures the lower portion of the eye. Although not the main focus of the eye it is however a distracting element. The color of the iris makes me think of the cosmos and expansion of the universe...which plays into what I see in the pupil. A sky full of stars...the universe. One thing that would make the imagery more stronger is that if you could have incorporated some planets into the composition of the pupil. It is very easy to create those photographically. Planets can be created from circle select tool and geometric effects tool from photos of slate, concrete,or dirt. To get a better sense of what I mean, Sigma Sector 957 will give you a visual result of what you can accomplish (more notes in the photographer's comment box).

This is an interesting interpretation of the challenge. I really like your result, especially with the middle cone stream.

This photo is okay, I think it might have worked better if the boy/man was focused on the stuffed animal and not the camera.
