I like the scorpion in these natural surroundings, and the composition is nice, he is frames around the top and side and seems ready to jump out on the viewer. However, he blends in too well with the background and it makes him hard to see, and lowers the impact. Could you make the yellow brighter? Or desaturate the background? Perhaps a little selective editing after the challenge.

His camouflage colourings mean he doesn't stand out against the drab background, especially because the strong light is creating so many shadows from the rubble and branches. I would also suggest the composition might be better if he were looking into rather than out of the frame.
