Grillin' makes it great!!!by dtouch1Comment by Geocide: The resolution of this image is really holding it back. Due to the extreme light and dark areas it's difficult to properly meter this properly. I'd like to see more midtones. |

Pocket changeby dtouch1Comment by e301: Wonderfully controlled lighting and exposure - not losing the brightness of the subject, yet without that glare so very common in these shots. Very slight drift of focus to the left of frame I think, just doesn't have quite the sparkling sharpness of the other. |

Pocket changeby dtouch1Comment by mijak: must be hard to walk with all that in your pocket... ;-)
I would like to have seen some other object in this picture to make the composition more interesting. |

Pocket changeby dtouch1Comment by TampaDan: For this kind of shot to work for me, it has to be well lit with super sharp focus. Not easy to do. |

Pocket changeby dtouch1Comment by Melina: I just found it a bit too busy, my eye didn't know where to look. Better than the other coin ones though. |

Your light setup donĀ“t help you to reveal the textures of the subject. To reveal textures the light must be in a hard angle setuped to do it. A common setup is a lateral 45 or 90 degrees. But top or down light works well too.
