crossings, intersections & things coming together!by rozComment: Well, I over-looked the oof leg - her buried nose probably bothered me more. This was a 9 for me, though. Great interest and amazing detail. Now that I'm looking, I'm noticing a few other things you could have cleaned up had you had a bit more time like whatever is intruding at bottom of frame. But the overall impact is sooo good. |

Skadiby MargaretNetComment: Great patterns. More than a hint of mystery. A look of days gone by - why does this bring the 1920's to mind? I also like the tones with the very subtle warming of the face. 8 |

the way of all fleshby tvsometimeComment: I would have enjoyed the textures and tones alone, but the leaf (and imprints of others now gone) is what keep me here and engages my thoughts. Great title to subtly call attention to it. 8 |

morning strollby TiberiusComment: Charming street, a gentleman who looks enjoyable to visit with, crisp tones and lots of textures. 8 |

Seeing doubleby wildirisComment: The two deer, positioned as they are, certainly draw the eye. But for me it's the light, the mist, the waving grasses that hold my attention. I'd almost prefer the deer weren't so strangely positioned as the bizarre, two-headed look is quite at odds with the mood here. 9 |

The Lost Artby NeilComment: Tones are perfect as is his position well off center in the light. What an amazing assemblage of tools! Great tones. Lovely. I do feel I've seen this before but I'm sure it was just very similar. Still, that lessens the impact a bit for me. 8 |

City Sirenby markwileyComment: She is beautiful, strong, dramatic. I love the way you've chosen to place the vanishing point low on her forehead so the city radiates out from her. If I had any criticism, it would be that the faint bit of building left across her teeth looks, at a glance, like braces. That doesn't work for me for this look. 10 |
