I gave this a 10, not because it's the exact and most dramatic representation of the core belief behind stylized negative space in photography, but because I completely didn't expect this exact shot, and I think it is very well done.

Thanks, though there is no admitting necessary, it is indeed lint - that has hair in it. You see, when you own a SIberian Husky, and another long haired dog - your lint is always comprised of a percentage of hairs :)

Single 13 second exposure, first real shoot with my new Tokina 16-28mm f/2.8 FX PRO lens, and I love this lens. Shot this on a tripod, with a remote trigger. Also used my Nikon SB-700 to fire a touch of light out underneath the pier to balance with the long exposure of the sky, etc.
