Fantastic. This is really perfect for the challenge, and I love the clarity and processing here. 10

Well captured, great lighting, and I am totally feeling the negative space with this one. If the rose petals were not being clipped by the right and bottom border I think that would have been perfect.

Sinister, thought provoking, and other worldly. Great entry for the challenge, the only thing I might add is the splotches of gray toward the right side (in the black) steal your eyes from the subject more than you might want.

This is a great entry, it challenges the text book negative space images by making the negative space interesting. The subject is clear, and because it is colored so differently from the surrounding space it really works here, I gave this one a 9 because I think it's a great entry for the challenge that also can educate people's understanding of what negative space is in photography... Showing that an image with negative space doesn't have to be a solid swatch of nothing surrounding a sharply captured subject in the thirds.

This is another shot in this challenge I can see as a text-book image right below the chapter titled "Negative Space & Photography". Made a bit more interesting with dueling subjects. 8

Lots of obvious negative space here, it is sharp, well lit, and a great fit for the challenge. 9

I gave this a 10, not because it's the exact and most dramatic representation of the core belief behind stylized negative space in photography, but because I completely didn't expect this exact shot, and I think it is very well done.

Thanks, though there is no admitting necessary, it is indeed lint - that has hair in it. You see, when you own a SIberian Husky, and another long haired dog - your lint is always comprised of a percentage of hairs :)

Very cool. Well done. I must admit it looks a little like.... hair. ;)
