This is a photo that I have rated low, a 3.
It seems to be OOF. I can't really tell it's a lightbulb. If I look hard enough, I can see the details within the bulb.
I would have liked a cleaner, crisper photo, it would have benefited from that.

This is my second favorite of the challenge.
While the lighting is a little too harsh, I still very much enjoy this photo. The detail is impeccable. The rusty colors are great. The title almost fits... if there was a little dust at the bottom of the peeling areas, that would have really set it off!

This is my absolute favorite image in the challenge.
The detail is wonderful. The lighting works well. It's an abstract somewhat... but can also be seen for what it is.
The angles, the way the light hits, the shadows... it all works.
The color conversion is perfect.

I understand the concept of this photo, but there doesn't seem to be anything in focus. The colors are also a little strange. Maybe more sharpness and a black and white conversion with a boost of whites could have helped? I don't know.
