At the Blue Lagoonby GautiComment: Beautiful. Great colors, stunning composition -- the best photo I've seen so far in the competition. Good luck! |

Stareby RockBruiseComment: You're gonna get beaten up by all the anti-grain people, but I think this looks sorta cool, like pointillism or something. I think the composition could be a bit more effective, maybe shifting down a bit to include more of the eye in the frame. |

Evening Blushby ArtanComment: The colors here are gorgeous -- really stunning -- but the railing on the bridge looks a bit out of focus. Maybe it's just the haloing of the backlighting making it look so, but I think it's a bit soft. I think I'd prefer to see the railing sillhouetted a bit more, as well, darker against the sky. |

Oldtownby bryanbrazilComment: Beautiful reflection and nice colors in the lights. I love experimenting with shots like these. The only thing I think I'd try to do differently, and this is entirely personal preference, understand, is to try to darken the shrub in the foreground. Something about the lighter brown compared to the black silhouettes in the back feels a bit out of place. Upping the contrast a bit might help this. |

Cape Cod Canal at Duskby WylyWireComment: I like the composition and colors in this shot a lot, but it's a bit soft in focus, which is very common with low-light shots. I actually like the little tree in the foreground, but I think she shot could be improved by including less of the road in the bottom-left corner. |

Shade of beautyby LevTComment: I didn't vote on this challenge, but I really dig this image, both for its simplicity and for (what I consider to be) an innovative technique. Thanks for posting how it was achieved! |

Warm Morning Lightby printer4uComment: Is the shack actually crooked, or is it the angle of the tree that makes it look that way? I think the shack looks fine, and I love the color and depth of this shot. |
