Peek-a-Booby garryyoungComment by bvy: Framing her face to the hole would have -- I almost said ruined it. No, you might have gotten a good image doing that too, but you would have broken this image. As it is, the broken glass takes the shape and suggestion of an apparition looking back at your daughter. That said apparition seems to emanate from the child's figure (her imagination?) is even more striking. |

Peek-a-Booby garryyoungComment by BrennanOB: There is alot going on here and most all of it good. The flow through the frame between the sill and the battens leading to the swirl of the glass break is really nice. Figuratively the weird fractal reflection in the edge of the broken glass, the face in teh opposite window and the reflection/ dark mass in that window keep the eye churning. top marks, my pick of the group. |
