Charcoal Lineby CorwynComment by e301: I don't see that the noise generally and the sharpening artefacts (particularly around the point of the pencil) are of any great help to this image. The extreme shallowness of the depth of field suggests a large-sensor camera, and yet the final image's uqality suggests something much less sophisticated. |

Great colors, wonderful lighting, clean and interesting.
I wish the DOF was a bit deeper though.
Personally I love shallow DOF but this photo has enough interesting details in it. I don't find the DOF game needed here.

Black and YellowStrippedby CorwynComment by kirbic: Unlike your other shot, this one could benefit from a bit more DoF. What aperture did you shoot at if I may ask? Like the other shot I would simplify or eliminate the frame. I wonder if a tighter, rotated crop would benefit as well? |
