Forest for the Treesby JToddHigginsComment: foreground bokeh do not help this image by anyways. Also I would have cropped out the isolated partial one at the left.

A is for Ass... BAD ASS!by tehbenComment: Greetings from Critique Club
First impression: Looking at the nose of this animal, I thought this was a type of pony from some very cold region till I read the title.
I like the sepia mood, lighting and the vignetting around the subject as a border.
The photo as such had potential to score a little better score than what you already got. If only you had bent slightly over or were on your knees for this, it would have helped. Photos of animals when taken while standing unless until it is fully grown horse, hippo, zebra or giraffe, it would always appear smaller than it actually is. Trick is to take photo from a point below its eye level or atmost the same height as its eye level.
Pose of the animal is also not very interesting to me. It do not even convey that it is walking especially when the legs are firmly together.

Fullerton Hotelby maggiedddComment: This is a great shot. The moon light, thanks to your long exposures gives it a mystic touch to the photo creating a differential lighting. The way the tree has been shown is really beautiful.
The only drawback I could notice is the oblique blue holding bars towards the right top corner.
I would have given it a 7. |

Patinaby e10icusComment: The overexposed left side is making my eyes pain slightly. I guess the photo has a slight blue color cast as well. |

A l m o s tby phloverComment: Did you use Noise Ninja or something? This is one photo where noise would have added a lot more substance. I like the composition just perfect. Feels like de-noised to me. |
