Saveby cvt_Comment by lagavulin: Good technically, but too little there creatively to engage me. |

Saveby cvt_Comment by justine: We don't really see the details of the coin in this perspective. Flat. Maybe if you had propped this up a little bit. It's a good shot just the same. |

Saveby cvt_Comment by C_Steve_G: Perhaps more centered, or more negative space on the light side... |

Saveby cvt_Comment by faidoi: Great closeup of the coin. Contrast is used effectively. Beautifully captured highlights really help the shot pop out. You can almost feel the raised etching of the coins. "10" |

Beef Goulashby cvt_Comment by cvt_: it was sour cream in the center, unfortunatly a bit runny, but couldn;t be helped.
This was a rushed excersize before work the day it had to be in, and didn;t realise the cream was overexposed till I put it on the computer :(
There was a knife and fork in the photo, but I had to do some harsh cropping because I did this on a bedside dresser, it was a really dark red wood, and nice reflective. I wish I had taken some without the fork, I have a ps'd version without the fork and it looks much better and balanced!
The cashews in the back, they were in a pot I was eating, and the photo was too plain, to I put the pepper in and tipped some of my cashews on the table, I felt it really helped the photo.... but didn't even think of the 'must be in the dish'.. thanks for pointing that out. |

Beef Goulashby cvt_Comment by dr rick: A bit soft (sharpening would have helped). The nuts and pepper work well in the background. |

Beef Goulashby cvt_Comment by ButterflySis: Mmmm, recipe please! :-) Can't wait to see this one.
Nice presentation. I like how you've included the nuts and pepper in the background. |

Beef Goulashby cvt_Comment by vadvirag: Lovely one! Althought I would have taken the fork in photo with its whole wideness - and bit more of the the red pepper too -, and I don't really know what do the nuts in the back do with goulash. But... but I think I go upstairs and make this one for dinner! :) Would give 9 if I could vote. |
