this image doesn't really work for me. The subject itself is not very nice or interesting and although I think you have a good focus point somewhere, it's in the middle of the most unappealing part. The composition seems too centered and zoomed in - "in your face" so to speak. I get a feeling of looking at a cropped out part of a larger image that might contain something to look at. Not this much rust was needed, it could have made it as a rusted element in a larger image which held some more general interest.

On the upside, yes you did get a focused shot that meets the challenge and colors are good, as is the use of border here.

This is a great interpretation of the theme and very effective in B&W. The detail in the skin markings adds to the effect. Would have been even better if there was even more difference in the size of the two fists, but we can't always control our models completely!
