Butterfly Cuffs

Butterfly Cuffs

Comment:
Nice shot, I would have tended to go towards higher contrast and lower brightness. The cuffs have an almost butterfly shape to them, unsure as to whether this was intentional, but this conjures up memories of "Papillon". A well trained butterfly, at rest, atop the cuffs would have been an assured winner.

Good Luck

Beautifully shot, good to see someone taking time to get a particular shot, well deserved ribbon. Personally, I would have toned down the tungsten lighting (yellow/orange) effect. Else wise, flawless.

Clever stuff, there have been some poor interpretations in this challenge, this is definitely amongst the best ones, well done.

Awesome shot Geewhy, great lighting, yourself and BobsterLobster (3rd place) have used "Neatimage" to good effect, I'll be checking out the software for myself.

Well Done.

Congratulations Bob an enchanting shot indeed, it reminds me of the film "What Dreams May Come", I'll be looking up "Neatimage" to see how I may enchant my own images.

Keep up the great work.

Congratulations on your win.
Good shot, but personally I prefer the uncropped version.

Congratulations, well deserved.

Living in London, makes it hard to contend against natural shots from Iceland.

You wait for the next skyscraper challenge.....!!

Nice shot, but I would have gone for B&W, you have good contrast, and a subtle subject matter, maybe make the hands B&W and the cigarette slightly desaturated colour.

Undoubtly the best shot in the "Motion Blur" challenge, a superb example of the challenge requirement. Beautiful colour and light, it has an oil painting come pastel feel about it, very Turneresque. You should put this one up for sale, or at least pass me an A3 printable copy.
