Imogenby silver_avocadoComment: This one is lovely. I just wish it didn't appear overexposed. Try tweaking your brightness and contrast settings. |

in between.by ShannonLeeComment: I love the framing effect of the two buses in this shot. I think you could probably draw just a tad more from it by applying a blur brush to that background. Overall, a 7 from me. |

These Eyesby scmaxfieldComment: I looks like you may have used a blur tool on the left eye, perhaps to make an unintentional blue from the camera appear more intentional. Focus is definitely drawn to the right eye, and I suspect that's what you were going for. But I'm not convinced that it's working for this composition. Have you considered simply cropping the left eye out entirely, generating a more rectanglar composition that ends at the nose bridge? |

Your eyesby ValdoComment: Elegantly simple. Reminds me of an homage to an older generation's school portraits. |

Princessby JudiComment: Stunningly flattering portraiture here. The composition suffers some, I think, from that blurry hair in the lower left corner, and I think you might capture the essence of the "princess feel" more with a white background instead of a black one, but as is this is still solidly an 8 for me. |

"Dark and Twisty"by saphireComment: I like what you're trying to do. Keep working at it, though...go for greater contrast and shallower shadows on the face. |

Sexy ladyby whiterookComment: I hate to sound like a thoughtless critic, but what was the point of this shot, exactly? It's thoroughly unengaging. |

19 - Dirty Little Secretby Blink_Too_FastComment: This is a mediocre photo, at best, in my opinion. The choice of subject matter makes it that much less appealing (I was having a piece of chocolate when voting on this, and you might imagine I lost my appetite pretty quickly). You have to be very careful when working with something like this and find an artistic perspective that communicates an intriguing message. Particularly when working with potentially objectionable subject matter (e.g., something controversial, something gross, or something political), you have to be exceptionally clear in your communication or else you're sure to draw fire from critics and the populous in general. As is, in this case, the message I'm getting is just one of "I couldn't think of anything better to photograph." |

Savin' Meby L1Comment: Are those costumes, or did you actually convince the local police to pose for this? That's an incredible accomplishment in of itself! |
