Interesting idea, the right lighting would have really pulled this off, and it seems like the focus is on the paint. Wonder how it would look rotated 180. I like this, but the lighting puts a damper on things. 6

Lots I like here. The cracked skull, the blushed cheek, the winged helmet for 50 bucks, the sword (which of course hacked of the arm), the jumble and the chroma-chaos. All those mad juxtapositions, and the perfect title. Thanks.

I'm going through the entries, stopping at those images I feel have had the benefit of an unconventional eye and dwelling a little longer to try to see and appreciate what you saw. This is one of those images.

Positives: An interesting combination of objects to be sure and the vibrant coloration works well for the subject matter.

Critical stuff: I think the lighting is rather harsh, leading to some blown highlights. The overall composition and subject mater confuses me a little.

Overall: Interesting, but I confess I don't really get it.
