Home Improvementby ssComment by timj351: Wow. very original. Nice balance. A lot of people would have put the line straight down the middle which would not have been nearly as effective as this. |

Home Improvementby ssComment by karmat: Excellent idea. The extra light on the right side washes out some of the detail though. |

Home Improvementby ssComment by Mousie: the left of the building is very blown out, i wonder if you could have taken a darker exposure and pushed the blacks a bit to bring out the detail of the darker side. |

Home Improvementby ssComment by Maverick: Transition from light to dark works well here, good use of black and white. I would have liked it better if the left side wasn't so bright though |

Home Improvementby ssComment by mykoleary: Holy overxposed! This is a very interesting shot/subject, but the hotness of the left side distracts much too much. |

Home Improvementby ssComment by jsgf: I guess what you're getting at is that the window on the left is newer than the right. The problem is that your dynamic range is too much for the camera so the left window is over exposed and the right one is underexposed. You could use a half neutral-density filter to reduce the contrast between the two, and get good exposure on both. Alternatively, you could add more lighting, or wait until the sun is in a better place. |

Home Improvementby ssComment by langdon: Nice contrast of dark and light. I wish the image was clear though... It seems a little grainy. |
