This is a great capture! VERY hard to do on the deck of a rocking boat with a telephoto lens (at high noon because that's when they come up for air of course!) Obviously I have baggage... but really... this is great.

This is a fabulous capture. Growing up in Thousand Oaks, Ca. I would look forward to finding these ladybug colonies in the bushes and trees of our yard and surrounding hills each summer. I don't know if they still inhabit that area, but I'm thrilled to see they do indeed still gather for a summer party. oh, and a big congratulations on your 5th place finish!
