Perhaps if she were a bit off-center, it would pop more. Her skin is blown out a bit as well. You were obviously shooting in difficult lighting conditions. I don't know that I could remedy any of that, but that's what I see when I look at this photo. 5

	The Spirit of Joy by janaelee Comment by Lydia: I love their smiles! The image seems a bit dingy... could use some brightening and/or contrast, maybe. Also, the expression on the girl on the left is not attractive with her cutting her eyes to the corner like that. I know it's hard to control expressions, but in a photography contest, some will call this a 'snapshot' instead of a photograph for a contest. I've heard it time and again. It's a happy photo and it makes me smile. So, points for that! :) (not voting)
