Winter Lightby nicoledbComment: This image would be considerably stronger, I think, if the bright, white area at the top left weren't in the picture. It pulls the eye away from the light that is your main subject. Suggestion: crop down to below that area. You'll then have a pano format image that will look quite interesting, IMO. |

Grand Gulf Churchby turdaveComment: The church is interesting and nicely shot. To my eye, though, the large black shadow of a tree (?) in the foreground is so dominant in the frame, that it really distracts us from your main subject. |

no more photos dadby biggisComment: Great pose and expression and very nice high key background. Good positioning in the frame, too. The skin tones and textures are a bit steange, though, and there are a couple of quite large hotspots on the face. |

Cathedralby MinstrelComment: I'm afraid that for me at least the overall green colour cast is quite offputting. The image is very noisy, too. I strongly suspect that the problem was with the limitations of your camera rather than with anything you did wrong. |
