Hark IIby Yo_SpiffComment: Nice finish! The difference in finish between your HDR entry and this one is certainly interesting. |

Sunset Over Sugarland Fallsby alfrescoComment: I personally wish there was more foreground to give the waterfall somewhere to go. It's like having someone running or looking off-frame, just doesn't work for me. But the processing is pretty nice. There are a couple yellow patches in the waterfalls that could have been fixed since this is Advanced Editing. 7 |

Exit 165by dhunckynComment: What story does this tell me about Exit 165? It doesn't look like anyone exited there, so it just looks like another long exposure taken on an overpass; which is fine, but the title isn't fitting. For framing, why didn't you recompose more to the right? What do the vehicles coming towards you (read: the blown out blob) add to the photo? Why is the sign on the left cut off? |

The Girl and the Seaby LevTComment: Perfect timing and processing on the incoming wave. I wonder how many people who haven't tried taking a picture of a breaking wave will give this the credit it deserves. Very well done. 10 |

into the woodsby skewsmeComment: Nice, I love the abstract feel of this...I have a feeling that it will either gain you a top 10 or a brown. 10 |

Painting the starsby Silent-ShooterComment: Very original idea! My only real gripe is that I would've liked to see the ladder turned more towards the camera to show at least some of the "artist's" face. And maybe a different wardrobe choice...but that's just being nitpicky. :-) |

Lamborghini Countachby MiepComment: OK...seriously...who do you know that OWNS a Lamborghini that let you set this up?! Regarding the pic, the Lambo is nice and sharp and I like that the red really pops in the tunnel, but my only gripe is that it doesn't feel fast ENOUGH considering your subject. Other than that, nice entry. 9 |
