Great opportunity shot I guess you would call it; glad you didn't get hit!

Very nicely done, exposure, and the light is just icing on the cake!

I agree on the jealousy thing!!..:)
Hey very nice work here, I like the mixture of the "glow" as you mentioned plus the light beams!
Did I mention I am also jealous?
Very pleasing to the eye, glad you did what you did.

This is a GREAT POV!! really cool here. The colors, the interest that keeps leading you further in to each door is also great!
This is really picky I know but the light on the bricks seems distracting. What I mean is the shape of the door needs to be there but if the color or intensity of that light would be changed then , in my humble opinion this photo if a perfect shot of this. Just my opinion, thanks for showing us this!

Maybe I just need to go shoot some sunsets...but this is another great sunset shot to me.
The texture of the water and it's liquid look is great. I like the little bit of beach sand in the foreground too.
Colors and POV with the rocks leading you out to the sunset and that great sky are also great. No criticisms here!
Thanks for showing us this and letting us give our opinions!

I love this whole photo, the POV, the composition, the colors (!!!) really make this a great shot to me. I would definitely have this hanging on my wall!! I am new to this so keep that in mind.
The slight bit of wave in the front could even be cropped giving a great contrast between the dark foreground and the light in the background.
Very nice!

Okay only my SECOND rating ever! So keep that in mind.
Here I love the title and the attempt at a great photo. The reason I say attempt is because to me, the light at the top is blown out. I purposely cropped this image by moving the page up and (to me at least) this is a "WOW" photo when you do that and it actually emphasizes the light. Maybe I am all wrong but that's my view. Thanks for letting us try to evaluate your photo!!..:)

Hey, this my very first comment on one of these so take it with a grain of salt okay?
I really like the light effect in the foreground on the post, the water, the bowl and the reflection; this is all very nice.
I DON'T like the "light in the alley", with its blur. I would have rather seen no light over there (I know that is the title!) and a blurred doorway. It is like it takes away from the look in the foreground. Maybe just me!
Have no idea how to vote, remember it's my first time. Thanks for submitting yourself to this!..:)

Sandy,
Nope, glad for the info, that means I gotta get that really big and heavy lens out, huh!
Mine just got back, I had figured you had them in jail down there and was about to call the hummer police!
Anyway this is a neat photo, and yes, I think the feet adds a lot to it!
As I said before I suppose this is a Calliope, if you can get a male he will be beautiful in color, but she is gorgeous!

Great work!

Jim
