Comment by rblanton:
You lost me at John. The cliche ruined a very effective photo. To me it would have been much more effective to have let me think "It's a Dear John" letter rather than spoon feed it to me. Dear Ambrose, Theodore or even Walter would have been better... I would have supplanted John and thanked you for letting me think a bit. Never underate your audience, they will hold you accountable for it.

Someone does one of these "dear John" takes in almost every chalenge, so unless you are new here I would say this is not very original. A good part of what I score an image on has to do with originality and as there is not much appealing about this other then it meets the challenge I won't score this very high.

Sorry.

Returning for comment. You got a great idea here and have mastered the long shutter element. Unfortunately, the shelves in the background are distracting from the overall effect. Nice capture.

Double exposure was creative but the setting is really cluttery.

I don't mean this to be critical, but helpful ... the skin tones appear to be off. They appear almost yellow-green. That may be hurting your score some.

The skin tones have a bit of a greenish tint to them which I did not like.

This image has a cool concept. However the photo is too small and loses detail. Next time if you could make it larger it would be more effective.

This is a brilliant idea and very well executed. I would suggest however that in future you make your images larger. I fear that you may be penalized by some due the the small size of this image. Good luck with the challenge.

its a good shot, I like it. If the size was more in line, (large 640x?) would had given at least a 7,
but sorry, had to give it a 5
