Wow. How different from all other submissions. Great image, great title. I hope you do well. I expecially like how the guy's face stands out against the rest of the image, and is framed really well. Grain and b&w add a lot to the mood.

REally like the colors and the strong shadows causing repeating patterns. Only little nitpick I have is the dark shadow to the right of the lantern shadow. I would've tried to clone (although I am not very good at that, and all the lines are going to be difficult). Regardless, really nice entry for this challenge.

Fall discovery

The cutest dog. He looks so at home in the fall leaves. I like the composition, clarity, colors. Maybe a little overexposed on the left side (right side of the dog). As most dog photos, it doesn't hold my attention too long (as with babies, knowing them makes the photo much more intesting). Still a good portrait of a pet in natural surroundings.

Nice scenery. I like the colors and everything, the only thing I would've done differently is crop a bit off the bottom. The sky is more interesting than the empty field in the foreground that has no hayballs on it.

To be honest, I'm having a hard time finding something to focus on. Maybe if one of the items was in sharp focus, it would be more pleasing to my eye.

Nice white background, although, looking at the shadows, you seem to have achieved a good part of it in post-processing. It's hard though with reflective items. Nice arrangement and (even though I don't understand the latin phrase), easy to guess what the meaning is. Some overblown highlights in the forks and I wish it was a tad sharper.

Spectacular detail on the face, and I like how the fur then just fades in detail and the background almost creates a halo. Very very well done.

Beautiful portrait. I didn't actually notice at first, but I have to agree with puzzled's comments about the teeth. Still like it though, it's informal with the the technical qualities of a formal shot.
