This is fantastic, both the fact that you saw that this very simple scene would make a good photo (many people would've walked right past it), your composition, the colors and your post-processing. I really can't say I would change anything, except for maybe cropping a tad more off the top of the image, for some reason I can't explain I find that that works even better for me.

Don't you just wish you could enter this in the blue challenge :) Beatiful dreamy capture. I like what you've done with it in post-processing, too.

This is a fantastic and creative portrait. The composition is just so spot-on and the title really compliments the picture. I like the position of the hands and how that one, very clear and bright eye is lookind directly at me. Tonal range is also good. Really, there's nothing I would change.

I kept going back and forth for a while, covering up the ship on the right to see what was the stronger image, and I finally decided they are both spectacular in their own way. I like the contrast of the colorful boat against the otherwiese muted, limited color palette, yet at the same time it makes them feel a little bit as if they were pasted there (I am not suggesting they were). Maybe desaturate a bit?

Composition and subject matter are just fantastic. I like the man's stance. Is he in bare feet? One of those pictures that can open up a lot of questions in your mind and keep the viewer engaged beyond just the beautiful image itself.

Great concept, I love street lanterns that are brightly decorated with flowers. I think for me, the execution here lets the image down a bit. What I would've tried to change when taking the photo is to have the lamppost straight, the lantern not cropped off at the tome and less clutter in the background at the bottom. I bet you are getting comments about the blownout sky, but I like the contrasty feeling of the shot. The reflections in the lantern add to the image, too.

Wow, nice closeup. Like the sharpness and the colors. It's a great capture either way, and I'm sure you didn't have too much time to compose, but what would have improved the image further for me would be if the antlers at the top weren't cropped off, and maybe even have the legs of the first buck show full (make this a portrait format shot?) Still nice though.

Great scenery. I love the shades of turquoise and blue in the water, and I actually like hte cloudy sky, too, which is not necessarily typical for a Hawaiian photo in my mind (of course I've never been there). I think what really hurts your image is that it is not in focus. Not sure if you have a couple of other versions of this that may be better? Your composition is nice, it has fore- middle- and background which leads the eye through the image nicely.

Isn't it great to be able to see these creatures out in the wild? I love it. Hard to get their shots. Your focus is spot-on, and I love the reflecting water. I would like to see the cormorant in full detail, not just his/her silhouette, but that would probably have been impossible from your position. What I think would give this image a little bit more impact than it does at the moment would be a tighter crop. The cormorant is the main subject of your photo, yet it is overpowered by the water and the shoreline a bit.

Shopping, Anyone?

I am not sure what your message or intent is with this shot, to be honest. Yes, it's clearly a mainstream American shopping mall with Xmas decoration. But why? It's exposed just fine, and sharp, yet it doesn't tell me a story, unfortunately.
