He looks like he has his feathers ruffled or is just extremely young; good timing to catch him while in a brief, still moment; I wish the BG was a little less distracting but admittedly you just have to catch these guys where you can; wonder if you could "burn" it a little; maybe those with more experience will have a suggestion; keep up the good work in chasing down these lightning fast creatures. Even more than the hummy I really like the lines in this. The vine just swoops my eye thru' the whole shot, and the splashes of red add both colour and context.

Nicely framed by the vines and leaves. It's so unusual to see one perched; they are usually perpetual motion machines and I am trying desperately to get a clear shot!
