A clever idea and a artistic success, it's less than successful in a technnical sense. DOF control is excellant and the lighting isn't over done creating blooms. The subject is less than totally absorbing. Perhaps a different background with a slightly different angle would have helped, but the author's intent is clear. Originally rated a 7, it has been upped to an 8 and well deserved. A little more thought would have brought the rating even higher.

Wonderful set up. The yellow is a bit overblown from the lighting, but does create a good shadow.

The flower in the lower right corner was a good choice. It gives the eye somewhere to rest. Overall the image is a little flat so maybe a little more contrast would help.
