I love Dante! Perhaps the DOF could be longer bc it seems to be slightly out of focus. Other than that, good creative shot. Matches well with the challenge

The flare adds to the effect, but the sun seems to be too blown out. I don't know what you could do to avoid this, perhaps dropping the levels just at the highlight level.

I've been seeing a lot of variations on this theme: holy statues in outdoor settings. I like the effect of the sun flare in this shot, though. It lends something to the picture as a whole.

I am not to fond of the lens flare for this image. It almost takes away too much detail. I personally would also like to see the subject more off center, or perhaps just crop more off the right side of the image.
