An excellent landscape. I would have made the border a different shade of red, not orange. It just doesn't scream life, though I would say it meets the challenge.

My thoughts about this when submitting it was the first obivous reason that something went wrong here was that it just sat there in the hand, which no bird would do without something gone wrong. Secondly something went wrong in the birds navigation, so to speak.
The bird wasn´t visibly injured at first sight. The little one was just in chock. It even tried to get shelter in the hand when a big bird flew around above us.

Well done. The depth of field extending an inch or so farther so the whole bird was sharp would be even keener.
