My thoughts about this when submitting it was the first obivous reason that something went wrong here was that it just sat there in the hand, which no bird would do without something gone wrong. Secondly something went wrong in the birds navigation, so to speak.
The bird wasn´t visibly injured at first sight. The little one was just in chock. It even tried to get shelter in the hand when a big bird flew around above us.

There is a short circuit somewhere...

Very nice blue color and DOF! But I think the fuse holder top is too dark. and maybe I´d tried to get rid of the glare at the bottom.
