Home Sweet Homeby giantsComment: Nice shot, but she has the cleanest hair I've ever seen on a vagrant. Good levels of contrast. (Her gloves look brand new, too). 8 Rob the Swash |

Earth warmingby rhipsterComment: Nice shot, I like your elements, but your set up needs finishing. This looks newly done...to pull off the illusion, smooth the sand a bit more then rake it, then blow it. It needs to look less disturbed (now this said, these are NIT points) Nice details on the skull, cactus and branch.8 Rob the Swash |

Sunday Barbecue vs. Pine Forest 1 - 0by jjbeguinComment: Nicely desolate shot (kinda don't like cutesy titles matched up to sad photos, but I don't score titles, just read them) Interesting curves on this tree. 8 Rob the Swash |

Final Sunsetby rcrawfordComment: That's a VERY good picute! Love the colors. Personal taste - maybe back off just a bit (more negative space around the tree) and move to your right (if available) to catch more of the hills (and less of the town lights). If that wasn't possible, oh well. This is one of the most striking pieces I've seen here in a while. Hands down winner!!! 10 Rob the Swash (I guess now I'm going to have to vote so this counts!) |

Ring of Spheresby roleychiuComment: At least you received ZERO ones! Notice how the No Camera score is much lower....as if they don't understand the difficulties of photographing white on white with all that glass. This is a very good shot! |

Heron on Blind Pass Beach.jpgby MarkS224Comment: Could you share your camera settings next time?
In general, I like this photo. The wind is at the heron's (?) back and shows up in the details of it's head. The color seems very nice. I see quite a bit of grain in the background...was that on purpose? Also, the sky seems bright (mid-day) but the horizon is dusky colored - I'm confused...what time of day was this? |

Canada's Horseby MorganComment: This is a wonderful photo! O.K. so the challenge aspect was (sorry) weak. Look at the depth of this photo, rich colors, tack sharp focus.
Even if a voter gave HALF of their points to meeting the challenge, the minimum score for this should have been 5, O.K. maybe 4 (but I think the photo is GREAT, hense 5). I just cannot understand how a photo this wonderful could get a score of 1 or 2!! But 78 people gave it that score. I'm disgusted!!
I'm so sorry for you. Rob the Swash (please forgive my rant...) |

Preparing for battleby caroleeComment: This is a very nice piece. Also scored this an 8. I like the idea of this shot and the details are great! Suggestion - crop the bottom a bit as the edge of the board creates some odd directional reflections. All in all, I like this piece very much. Rob |
