Derek - now this is really really cool. I'm glad to see you got some love in the comments. The view of the landscape to the right is soooo intriguing. Makes me want to sit and wait for something that might stroll past the window. Because of the view from that window, I'd like to have seen less of the wall on the left. Maybe put that corner on the 1/3 line? I look forward to seeing more of what you get from this area!

I'm going through the entries, stopping at those images I feel have had the benefit of an unconventional eye and dwelling a little longer to try to see and appreciate what you saw. This is one of those images.

Positives: One of those pictures that is more than the sum of its parts. The scene through the window makes for a beautiful abstract landscape in its own right and those streaks of light bottom left are lovely. The walls add to the wonder - as much as by what they obscure as what they show.

Critical stuff: Nothing

Overall: A most pleasing image.
