Nice rustic feel to this. I like the high contrast B&W processing, but feel that a little noise reduction in the sky wouldnt hurt. Overall a nice photo though.

There's something very moving about this. Maybe it's the fact that the tree appears hacked off on one side, which seems to emphasise the merciless nature of this place. The fact that it's not rendered in improbably sharp detail helps of course. 7.

But isn't Kodachrome supposed to give you those "nice, bright colors" according to Paul Simon? This is, however, quite wonderful in B&W.

Not sure why I like this, but I do. It's quiet, it's thoughtful, and it does make me wonder why half the tree isn't quite there. I like the muted feel of this, too.
