This is the 'morning ritual' for quite a few people :) With the theme of your title in mind, I wonder if this photo could have been set up a little differently... like on a table with a glass of orange juice close by... cup of coffee maybe? The 'morning' theme could have been portrayed in a stronger way by using natural lighting as well. The lighting and shadows in this photo don't really push a bright and cheery morning view :) I like the shot... i'm just tossing out some ideas :) = 8 - jmsetzler

Very nice. I like the entries with puzzle books. My grandpa always had one with him. It reminds me of him. Great focus. The lighting is very good, and the angle is also good. The dark spot in the upper left is almost distracting from the photo, but without it, it might look kind of funny. With it, you can tell it's an entire book, and not just a page. Good sharp pencil. Great job and good luck in the challenge.
