Old Barn Woodby kposeyComment by balynch: Would have been interesting, however, the lack of focus really detracts from this image. *4* -balynch |

Old Barn Woodby kposeyComment by FranziskaLang: wood like that is perfect for this challenge. i also like that you found a piece of wood with an eye in it. i probably would've placed the eye fully into the photo (while still following the ROT as you did). what really hurts your shot is that it's out of focus, and to be able to view the texture, focus is really important. -- gr8photos (2) |

Old Barn Woodby kposeyComment by Gene L.: I like the knot as a central element, but I think that the overall focus is a bit too blury for this kind of shot. |

Old Barn Woodby kposeyComment by MrsKro: It's kind of blurry. I think it could have been better if you had pulled back a little and perhaps not have gotten so close to the subject. |

Old Barn Woodby kposeyComment by myqyl: I'm a big fan of 'soft focus' and I understand it is sometimes used on purpose and folks don't get it... But this shot loses alot from the soft focus. For the texture to leap out, you 'need' the sharpest focus you could get. Of course, that's just me :) Great idea/ |
