Titanic Cemeteryby BeagleboyComment by dsidwell: What really adds to this photo to me are the leaves on the ground, which give a lovely texture and evokes things that are not square like the stones...I'm still thinking about it but to me they are key to this image's success. Nice mood and tones, too. Well seen. |

Titanic Cemeteryby BeagleboyComment by Gordon: Good composition, leads the eye through the frame. Shame there is no pay-off for following it back though. Feels like something is missing. |

Fall's Last Lanternsby BeagleboyComment by dertyklobb: I love when the photographer is bold. A lot of people on this website can't say that; you can. You were unafraid to get up close to your subject and explore. You found an interesting subject, however I think we'd agree that the background isn't ideal. But because you had the sense to focus wholey on the foreground, the juxtaposition, this photo turned out pretty well. The texture is amazing. |

Titanic Cemeteryby BeagleboyComment by sonnyh: I like your picture a lot. Took the shot from a very interesting perspective and I like that you can actually read the first tombstone. The composition is great and I like that you did it in black and white. The fall leaves also make their own statement and add greatly to the shot. Well done. Out of curiosity -- where is this memorial? |

Titanic Cemeteryby BeagleboyComment by adine: I like the curve of the path and the dusting of leaves, nice composition. It gives a sense of the imense loss, a somber place. Nice to be able to read the closest stone, we canextrapolate for the others, but it makes it more personal. 8 |
