Surrounded By My Friendsby drgsoellComment: Personally, I like partial desat shots but there are many who will score it down because they reckon it has taken the attention away from the subject.I think it does quite the opposite.

The Early Bird !by Dim7Comment: Always interested in the bird shots..this looks like our Blackbird (which I think is called a Robin in America ??).
Well centred but unfortunately the sharpness is missing..possibly because of digital zoom being used ??. Good capture though. |

Photo would have more impact for me if you got a little closer and captured mainly head and shoulders with just a little greenery ..concentrating on between the eyes for dead centre. However, there`s no saying how that would go down with the "dead centre brigade". |
