Great rich colored sky, nice stark lines. Focus is good, as is the lighting. I think the border is a little too much. A simple medium thickness black border wouldn't draw the eyes away as much in my opinion. Great composition. Good work! 7

Very nice photo. I love the distance of it and the colors are great, though a little dulled - possibly because of the lowish light. Nice composition, really covers the challenge well. I do wish the main subject (man on bench) was a bit more in focus, also I'd recommend cropping the left side just a hair more so that black box/sign thingie wasn't showing. The border seems a bit too much for the image - draws me away instead of keeping me in. A good, interesting image, well done. 6

Fantastic image. I love the contrast between the sheer, dark mountainous cliffs and the small but colorful barn. The lighting is good, focus is excellent. Subject is very interesting. My only wish was that the sky was a more uniform and deeper blue. Still this is a very awe-inspiring photo. Well done. 9

Fantastic colors! That's the first thing that strikes me about the image. Simply wonderful. I love the silhouette - especially the fact that the lines of the person are nice and sharp. Lighting is great, so is composition. Definitely fits the challenge on all levels. Excellent capture - nothing I would change. 10

What an arresting face. Lighting is great, and the focus is perfect. I love the texture of the fur - really shows up well. Good color, nice presentation. I wish there were more of a grassy background to help enhance an 'all alone' feeling though. Good image. 6

Cute title. A very nice image. Focus is great, the color of the bird is marvelous. Fits the challenge well - a lot of general interest. I would recommend cropping out the sunlight part - I find it a distractant. Also, that blue thing in the tree to the right - is that an ornament? Looks kind of metallic blue so it draws the eye. A good sound image. 6

Ah I like this image. Very simple, but fun. Nice contrast against that gorgeous sky. Perspective is good - gives an excellent feeling of height. I'm don't think it really fits the challenge specifically though - there are two poles after all. 5

Feeling Blue

Nice setting, the posture of the subject gives a semi-loneliness to the image - looks rather relaxed to me. Definitely fits the all alone portion of the challenge, I like the lighting and the focus is good. The negative art choice is an interesting one, does add a little oomph to the image - I'm not sure if the neon-like colors aren't too distracting though. Also I have to ask.. is the tie stained? I like the different direction. Nice work. 7
